Initially, the company had started as Dealer to sale Solar Home System in three districts, Baglung, Parbat and Magyadi in B.S. 2057. Then after it started business named as Dhaulagiri Solar and Electronics Co. Pvt. Ltd. from Pokhara, Kaski in BS 2058 and started to sell Solar System in sixteen districts of Pachimanchal except Tanahu district. It established milestone in B.S. 2060 by opening office in Balaju, Kathmandu and started to sell Solar Panel to different rural districts of Nepal. It moved ahead to sell maximum number of Solar Home System to different districts and maintained agents & dealers as required. Now, it is supplying Solar System to 64 districts and became market leader.

The company maintains quality system in management as well as product quality. It has obtained Quality Management System, ISO 9001:2008 certificate.To maintain quality in product it sells good brand products. The company uses branded products for Solar Panel, Battery, Charge Controller, Lights those are approved by RETS. It uses NS or other Standard obtained products for other required materials like UV Cable, wire, Nut & Bolt etc.

The company provides a Repair and Maintenance facility in it’s each Branch Office.

The company has maintained effective & efficient distribution channel to 64 districts so that customers do not have ambiguity to purchase Solar Home system. Trained technicians install Solar Home System to customers’ premises. In every six-month technicians service Solar Home System of individual customers.
